Airlink to launch twice-daily Cape Town to Lanseria flights from December

Airlink will begin flights between Cape Town International and Lanseria International airports on 4 December 2026, twice daily with 98-seat Embraer E190 aircraft, rising to four daily return flights from 22 March 2027. It will be the airline's first scheduled domestic service to Lanseria.

Why it matters

The route adds domestic capacity and competition between Cape Town and Lanseria, Gauteng's alternative airport to O.R. Tambo.
