EEP Africa grants US$1.15 million to take Solarise Africa into Uganda and Zambia
The Energy and Environment Partnership Trust Fund (EEP Africa) awarded Nairobi-based Solarise Africa US$1.15 million, matched by US$1.1 million of the company's own funds, for a 24-month programme. It will set up operations in Uganda and Zambia and target 3 MW of new renewable capacity for businesses, including solar, battery storage and heat pumps.
