COMESA competition commission opens inquiry into Uber's proposed acquisition of Delivery Hero
The COMESA Competition and Consumer Commission published a notice of inquiry on 21 October 2026 into the proposed acquisition of Delivery Hero SE by Uber Technologies, through Uber International Technologies II Corporation. The case, reference CCCC/MER/10/43/2026, is listed as under assessment. Earlier in October the commission also opened an inquiry into African Global Logistics' proposed acquisition of Egytrans NOSCO.
