Uganda Airlines launches four-times-weekly Entebbe to Accra service via Lagos

Uganda Airlines operated its inaugural Entebbe to Accra flight, UR900, on 27 October, routing via Lagos four times a week with a Boeing 737-800 wet-leased from Ethiopian Airlines. Ghana granted fifth-freedom rights, allowing the airline to carry passengers and cargo between Lagos and Accra on the same service.

Why it matters

Additional East to West Africa air links can shorten journey times for business travel and cargo between the two regions.
