Cameroon's Sonara signs fuel supply deal with Dangote and MRS
Cameroon's state refiner Sonara has signed an agreement with Nigeria's Dangote Group and Lagos-based MRS Oil & Gas to supply refined petroleum products. The deal was signed in Lagos on 22 October and announced on 30 October. Cameroon has relied entirely on imported fuel since a 2019 explosion damaged its only refinery.
Why it matters
