MTN Nigeria's nine-month profit after tax rises 55.3% to ₦1.17 trillion
MTN Nigeria's profit after tax for the nine months to 30 September 2026 rose 55.3% to ₦1.17 trillion, on revenue up 23.6% to ₦4.61 trillion. EBITDA rose 36.8% to ₦2.62 trillion, a margin of 56.9%, and data revenue rose 35.8% to ₦2.68 trillion. Subscribers reached 94.7 million, and total borrowings fell 36.8% since December 2025 to ₦333.3 billion.
Why it matters
Nigeria's largest telecoms operator is growing on data and cutting debt, which supports its spending on network capacity.
