Pick n Pay rolls out OrderGrid's AI store platform to more than 720 stores
Pick n Pay is rolling out an AI-based store operations platform from Toronto-based OrderGrid to more than 720 stores, where it will support the retailer's asap! online grocery service. A pilot cut the average time staff took to pick online orders by about 30%. Pick n Pay's online sales grew 35.4% in the 26 weeks to 30 August.

Faster order picking matters as online grocery delivery becomes a larger share of South African retail.
