Ghana's inflation rises for a third month, to 5.5% in October
Ghana's annual inflation rose to 5.5% in October 2026 from 5.2% in September, according to the Ghana Statistical Service, still well below the 8.0% of October 2025. Services inflation jumped to 11.5% from 8.3% and non-food inflation to 7.9%, while food inflation eased to 2.8% from 4.0%.
Why it matters
