Yellow Card buys Brazil's GoMoney to run stablecoin payments there directly
Yellow Card, the stablecoin payments company built in Africa, has acquired GoMoney, a São Paulo virtual asset service provider founded in 2018, to establish direct operations in Brazil. The deal follows Yellow Card's $40 million raise earlier in 2026; a licence application is under review by Brazil's central bank.
Why it matters
It is a rare case of an African fintech buying its way into a large market outside the continent.
