Your Leadership Profile

Every Founding Ambassador and Founding Member receives a two-page Leadership Profile in BOLDEN, The Founding 100 Edition. This is how the interview works.

The book

BOLDEN, The Founding 100 Edition

Start with The Founding Edition book: what the book is and how your profile fits into it.

BOLDEN, The Founding 100 Edition is the permanent record of the people who founded BOLDEN. Each Founding Ambassador and Founding Member receives the same two pages. The profile establishes your authority and credibility, and introduces you to the other members: who you are, what you know, what you can contribute and why others should connect with you.

Our editors shape your answers into your profile and design it with your portrait and logo. Nothing is published until we have sent the finished pages back to you for your approval.

The questions

Three questions for page one and six short ones for page two. Answer at whatever length suits you; our editors select the strongest material.

  • Your story. Where you started, and what you have built since.
  • A defining moment. A decision, setback or lesson that shaped the leader you are.
  • How you lead. What you believe about leadership, and the contribution you want to make to your country.
  • What are you building, and how can Africa’s trusted leaders help move it forward? Your current venture, project or ambition, and the support, introductions or expertise that would make the biggest difference.
  • My expertise. The knowledge and experience you can share.
  • My contribution. How you could help other members.
  • What I am looking for. Partnerships, markets, expertise or opportunities.
  • My industry outlook. One important change or opportunity you see for your country or region.
  • My role as ambassador or founding member. What you would like BOLDEN to achieve for your sector, and the community you want to help build.

A short set of tick boxes follows: what matters most to you, who you would like to meet, and the industries and markets that matter to your work. These stay with the BOLDEN team and are not published. They help us make the right introductions.

What to send

Portrait and logo

  • A professional portrait. Required. It fills a full page, so send a recent, well-lit photograph at full resolution, ideally in portrait orientation.
  • Your organisation’s logo. As a PNG, SVG or PDF.
